At Amaroo, we are fortunate to be governed by a Board of Directors that helps drive our strategic growth. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Graham Francis as a Non-Executive Director to our Board, effective 01 February 2025.
With over 40 years of diverse experience, including 20 years dedicated to the NFP-based health and aged care sector, Graham brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to Amaroo. Most recently, Graham retired from his position as CEO of SwanCare Group, a position he held for the past 18 years.
“During my time at SwanCare Group, I successfully led the team through a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape.
My leadership had been marked by the development and execution of forward-thinking strategic plans, robust financial management, and the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.
This background, coupled with my previous board experience, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to help make a meaningful contribution to the Amaroo Board as non-executive director”, Graham explains.
“Amaroo is an organisation of which I feel very privileged and proud to be a part. I would like to see Amaroo continue to be a destination of choice for those seeking quality care and accommodation, allowing WA seniors to age in place in a community environment that provides safe, secure and high-quality care.”
Chair, Fiona Kalaf stated on behalf of the Board that she is delighted to Graham to Amaroo.
“Graham brings a wealth of experience in operational leadership and strategic business development, which will be great assets to our work at Amaroo.
“Having recently revised our Strategic Plan, we have many important goals that we will achieve in the coming years together with our Executive team led by CEO Lisa Brennan.”
Key initiatives in the Amaroo Strategic Plan 2024-2026 include the continued focus on our people, expansion of our services, capital planning, and best practice clinical governance and service quality. These initiatives underpin our continued commitment to empowering older people to live the lives they choose.
