Our Code of Conduct
At Amaroo, we believe that we all have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
No matter if you are a director, employee, resident, family member, or contractor – you are expected to observe the highest standards of ethical behaviour and integrity in your conduct.
At Amaroo, we follow the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s Code of Conduct.
At Amaroo, we are committed to the highest standards of legal, ethical, and moral behaviour among employees, volunteers, the executive, board directors and contractors.
All individuals are expected to uphold our values of respect, accountability, care and integrity, and act ethically and responsibly.
If you are concerned an individual is identifying instances of reportable conduct, we encourage you to disclose this to an eligible recipient.
Our Whistleblower Policy outlines protective measures that apply to individuals who disclose reportable conduct, so they can do so without fear of victimisation or reprisal.
This policy outlines the circumstances in which we obtain personal information, how we use and disclose that information, and how we manage requests to access and/or change that information.
