Fiona Kalaf
President
Experienced board chair and non-executive director, CEO and senior executive across a range of sectors, including financial services, human services, and infrastructure and development.

Member of the Amaroo Board since November 2023.
Work experience
Fiona is currently a non-executive director of Euroz Hartleys Group Limited (ASX: EZL), Perth Festival and Celebrate WA, and a general councillor of HBF. She is the former chair of the Art Gallery of WA and former deputy chair of Healthway. Fiona is also currently General Manager Projects at APM (ASX: APM), the world’s leading mission-driven human services business operating in eleven countries. Fiona has responsibility for the APM group’s sustainability and social impact function within the investor relations team. She has held numerous senior executive roles, including CEO of Lifeline WA and Youth Focus, and executive roles at HBF and Asgard Wealth Solutions.
Zenith Zeeman

Work experience
Zenith holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has significant operational, clinical, and executive management experience in the public mental health and not for profit aged care sectors. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Zenith also serves on other boards and holds the Board Chair of a Disability Board.
Liza Houghton

Work experience
A qualified Registered Nurse, Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors and Masters of Business Administration, Liza has extensive experience working with health service providers across a range of agencies in health and community care. This includes experience evaluating and developing governance structures for primary and acute health care services with a focus on partnership, engagement, and service reforms.
Liza is a Fellow of Australasian College of Health Service Management, and facilitator of the Australasian Institute Clinical Governance, Applied Clinical Governance module. Liza is also currently an Independent Director on Red Lily Health Board and Non-Executive Director on the Northern Territory Primary Health Network.
Laura Sutherland

Work experience
Laura has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology and operates her own company that offers workforce solutions within the Aged Care & Community Services industry. She holds over 15 years’ experience and has previously managed recruitment and workforce solutions teams for large corporates based in the UK and Australia. Laura is also Chair of the WA Ambassador Council for Leading Aged Services Australia’s NEXT GEN.
Jill Hanna

Work experience
Jill has many years of experience as a senior executive and a consultant in the aged care and retirement living sector. She has a Master of Leadership and Management (Distinction) degree, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was awarded a Churchill Fellowship.
Garry Black

Work experience
Garry holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. With over 30 years of executive-level experience in banking and property development, Garry recently completed a 13-year tenure as Chief Financial Officer at a leading provider of aged care and retirement living services. He currently serves as the chairman of two major property development joint ventures between the Western Australian State Government and private investors.
