Meet our team – Holli, Human Resources Administrator

At Amaroo, we are fortunate to have a team of over 400 people across our facilities working together to care for older Australians.

Whether that be our nurses, personal care workers, allied health professionals, maintenance staff, cooks, cleaners, or administrative staff – we all play a role in ensuring our clients and residents live their best lives.

In the leadup to Aged Care Employee Day, we are spotlighting a variety of our staff at Amaroo who have gone above and beyond in providing direct and indirect care.

In our second blog post, we introduce you to our Human Resources Administrator – Holli.


Meet Holli

Holli joined the Amaroo Corporate Team in November 2020 as our Accounts and Customer Service Officer.

“This position gave me the opportunity to interact with the residents residing at our Villages and Caring Centres. I was their first point of contact and absolutely loved getting to know and supporting them.”

Holli stayed in this position for a few years, before taking on a new challenge as our Human Resources Administrator.

Although Holli has only been in this position for a few months, she has helped recruit and onboard a high calibre of staff who provide direct care to our residents and clients.

“It’s definitely a very diverse role and no two days are the same. I’m learning a totally new aspect of the business and I’m really enjoying myself.”


Making people’s days brighter and happier

At Amaroo, we are passionate about building welcoming communities that support our residents and clients to live their best lives. Achieving this would not be possible without vibrant and friendly staff members like Holli.

“I am passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. You never know what someone is going through, and if I can put a smile on someone’s face, then I know I’ve done my job.”

Around the office, Holli is also known for being a hard worker who never forgets to see the brighter side of life.

“I have taken it upon myself to remind our team of our four key values – Respect, Accountability, Care, and Integrity. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day tasks, however it’s important to always come back to why we do the work we do – it’s always for our residents and clients.”
