McMahon Care Centre
McMahon Caring Centre located in the picturesque grounds of the Lewis Homestead on the tranquil waters of the Canning River and adjacent to the Gosnells Railway Markets.
McMahon also includes a specialised secure memory support wing to accommodate up to 24 residents. It also offers a unique ‘Therapy Room’ for treatments that provide calming therapeutic care.

Fees at McMahon Centre cover care (including podiatry and continence), meals, cleaning and laundry. Incidentals such as pharmacy scripts, hairdressing and outings are additional. Fees will depend on income level and assets, and will be discussed in detail upon application. Fees are calculated in strict accordance with Government regulations and the Aged Care Act 1997.
To gain admission to the McMahon Centre, an assessment is required by a Government Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) as well as an income assessment through Centrelink or the Department of Veteran Affairs. ACAT assessment can be organised through your Doctor or hospital social worker and will determine whether you have high or low care needs. Once both assessments have been obtained, you can place your name on our waiting list.
