For admission to one of our caring centres, you will need to complete an assessment through the Government's Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). Depending on your individual circumstances, you may be eligible for government funding.
You will also need to complete the Amaroo admission form. This provides us with the information we need to progress your entry.
How do I arrange an ACAT assessment?
The ACAT assessment can be arranged through your GP, the hospital or social worker on your behalf. A member of an ACAT will talk to you about your current situation and help you work out what your options are.
How do I find a local ACAT?
To find your local ACAT or for more information about ACAT assessments, go to My Aged Care at www.myagedcare.gov.au or call 1800 200 422.
What happens after I have completed the ACAT assessment?
Once you have completed the ACAT assessment, you will receive a letter to let you know if you have been approved as eligible for Australian Government subsidised aged care services.
Our Resident Accommodation Coordinator can take you on a tour of the facility (STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY). To book an appointment click here or contact admin.
