An ANZAC day service was held at Amaroo Village Buckley Caring Centre on Monday, 25th April 2011. There was a good turn out with over 80 attending, including the City of Gosnells Mayor, Olwen Searle, Deputy Mayor, Bill Wiffen, Councillor, Julie Brown, MP, Chris Tallentire, Salvation Army Captain, Peter Hoare and the Gosnells Scouts. 4 wreaths were laid on behalf of Amaroo Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, Village Residents and Buckley Caring Centre, morning tea was served after service.
