Independent Units
Amaroo currently provides independent living units in Gosnells and Denmark. Units are available to anyone over the age of 55 not in full-time employment (or the spouse of someone fitting that criteria). The management of our retirement villages is governed by the Retirement Village Act. As such residents are covered by the terms of the Act and have security of tenure for their lifetime (or until such time as they wish to terminate their lease).
Amaroo provides both resident funded and rental units.
Resident Funded Units
Amaroo Village has a range of Independent Living Units available for purchase. Independent valuation sets prices and contracts are established between the Village and Resident on a lifetime lease basis. Best of all, there are no settlement fees, commissions or stamp duties to pay.
A member of the Amaroo team will discuss your individual financial arrangements with you. These will differ depending on the size and construction date of your chosen unit, however as with all retirement villages, a portion of the purchase price is non-refundable when the property is relinquished. The balance is then refunded to the resident or their estate.
You'll be able to relax and enjoy the lifestyle at Amaroo - our fortnightly service fee covers council and water rates; ongoing maintenance of communal garden areas and facilities; security patrols; and administration costs. We also look after the maintenance requirements of your unit - no need to even change a light globe yourself.

Rental Units
As part of a joint venture initiative with Homeswest, Amaroo Village is offers a variety of self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom rental units in Gosnells. All of our Units are comfortably appointed and feature a duplex-style design.
Rental units are perfect for individuals who do not own a house, or who do not have the financial resources to enter a Resident Funded Unit. Fees are available on application.
