David Fenwick, CEO

David Fenwick, Chief Executive Officer of Amaroo Village has been with Amaroo since 2002, he has 16 years of managerial experience in WA rural health services, including being General Manager of Central Great Southern Health Service and previously the Mid West Health Service. David has publications on health and aged care to his credit and has implemented the development of several world-class residential aged care facilities in regional Western Australia. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy & Sociology / Public Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Health Policy and Management.  David is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives.


Nicole Martino, Corporate Services Manager

Nicole Martino, Amaroo Village Corporate Services Manager has a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting from Edith Cowan University. She has over 15 years experience in private industry covering both financial and managerial accounting. Her strength lies in developing and managing efficient accounting departments.

John Hansen, Property & Assets Manager

John Hansen, Amaroo Village Property and Services Manager is a registered builder and has over 35 years experience in building and property services. He also has a Diploma in Building and a Diploma in Teaching. Previously, he was the Manager for the maintenance of all defence bases throughout WA and in addition lectured part-time in building studies at TAFE.


Heidi Bond, Operational Support Manager

Heidi Bond, Amaroo Village Operational Support Manager has been with Amaroo since 2002. Heidi has over 15 years experience in the Administration field and has an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration. She has undertaken various Human Resources and Management courses and attends regular network meetings. As a part of her role Heidi oversees Amaroo’s Human Resources and Information Technology operations.


Ken Baker, Manager Client Services & Marketing

Ken Baker joined Amaroo in November 2013 as the Manager Client Services & Marketing. Ken brought to Amaroo extensive senior management experience from across the Aged Care sector and the Corporate sector including roles as National Exec Manager in Telstra, State Manager for The Salvation Army’s WA Aged Care, Director Business and Support Services with Catholic Homes and Director Life Services (COO) with Baptistcare.  Ken is also a Fellow of Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).


Carol Leyshon, Residential Care Manager – Buckley Caring Centre

Carol Leyshon, Amaroo Village Residential Care Manager for Buckley Caring Centre is a Registered Nurse and has over 25 years nursing experience. Carol commenced her management career as Care Centre Co-coordinator at McMahon Caring Centre in June 2006 and has since undertaken the management role at Buckley Caring Centre.


Jean Rothschild, Residential Care Manager – McMahon Caring Centre

Jean Rothschild has joined Amaroo Village since June 2013 as a Residential Care Manager for Amaroo Village McMahon Caring Centre since June 2013. She is a Registered Nurse and has a Bachelor's degree in Health Management from Curtin University. She has over twenty years experience as a manager in the health industry, sixteen of those in Aged Care.
